Not sure what the hype was!!!! The cook added SOOOO much sauce to the Chimi that I could not taste any other flavor in the sandwich.... The fries same issue with the sauce, not sure if the chef was not on his A game or if that's their signature thing but nope needs to stop....!!! although the chef was very friendly, I can't say much about the guy taking our order, he does know he can leave if he wants to, don't ruin the business for the owner and if he was the owner or relative?! yikes !!!

Went here tonight with my boyfriend and waited 20 minutes with only one or two other orders ahead of ours, and it was awful. We got the combo platter with maduros , dominican sausage and rice. the rice was rock hard and undercooked and terrible flavor. the maduros were great but portions were small. The meat was hard and had to spit it out. Given they close at 1 am and had to wait 20 mins i expected it to be fresh or at least good. very disappointed the photos online looked so good. very misleading :

The best Dominican food you can eat! Staff extremely friendly. Definitely coming back!

On my way to one of my favorite spots to eat i saw the Dominican Flag and decided to have Chimi's instead. So glad I did, the chimi was soooo good!!! Cant wait to go back.
