Chicken Kitchen - Miami

I've had a couple of experiences where the chicken was dry, which is surprising because the location on 57th Ave consistently delivers quality food no matter when we visit. If you're thinking of coming to this store near closing time, I suggest you reconsider; you might leave disappointed.

VEGETARIANS AND VEGANS: Surprisingly, despite the name ChickenKitchen, they offer a wide variety of vegetarian options, including the Vegetarian Chop Chop, Vegetarian Wrapito, Cheesadilla, and many sides. The service is quick, prices are affordable, and the food is delicious. TIP: Be sure to drizzle the mustard curry sauce on everything. It’s incredible and almost impossible to describe (but here goes: it’s a honey mustard with subtle curry notes that isn’t spicy at all).

On a side note, I understand that many people are facing financial difficulties, but I don't get when it became a norm to tip at fast-food restaurants where you're simply placing an order. The staff already earns an hourly wage and isn't even bringing the food to your table. I did leave a tip when I paid the bill. I also asked for two extra sauces, thinking it was reasonable since I was ordering a larger dish than my wife's. However, I only received one after asking again, and they wanted to charge me for the second. So, I took the extra sauce, but I regretted leaving a tip after that experience. To top it off, prices have increased while portion sizes have decreased. It seems like a strange choice to skimp on sauce, as that's where real cost-cutting is happening. Many restaurants are struggling to attract customers again. They can't afford to be stingy if they want to keep patrons coming back.

Despite having an hour until closing, there was no plate and no pita available. It felt almost as if they were already closed. You would think it was just five minutes to closing time, yet we had a whole hour left! I won't be returning to this location.

The healthy food here is excellent, and the manager’s attention is outstanding. The chop-chop chicken paired with yellow rice and sauce is absolutely delicious!
