Japan Inn - Miami

I went for lunch and was informed by the host that they were not honoring the lunch prices. Instead, all hibachi dishes were at dinner prices, starting at $25 per person. If you advertise lunch prices daily, you should uphold them. That said, I appreciate the host's honesty in letting us know beforehand to avoid any surprises on the bill. We decided to leave the restaurant and find another place to eat.

The sushi here is fantastic, and the portion sizes are impressive. Typically, I don't feel satisfied after ordering sushi, but this restaurant left me feeling completely full— and I don't usually have a small appetite. I will definitely return whenever I have a craving for sushi and want a satisfying meal. Food: 5/5.

Both of our chefs, Chef Roger (Mr. Roger) and Chef Loue, prepared delicious food and provided great entertainment. Their jokes enhanced the entire experience, and it was clear that they truly enjoyed their work. Most of us opted for hibachi, but a few chose sushi, and every roll was exceptional—packed with flavor and the fish was of high quality. We also enjoyed the drinks; the sake was served perfectly hot, and the cocktails were both strong and delicious. Additionally, Jackie and Daniel were fantastic. Even though we weren't seated at their table, they went out of their way to assist my family and me. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and we will definitely be returning!

Fantastic food and service. Great chefs that provide a fun atmosphere while making delicious food. It tends to be semi-empty during lunch most times; I can't really say for dinner. Music can be a bit loud sometimes, and the AC is definitely blasting to combat the heat of the hibachi tables, but the food is stellar. Each chef cooks a bit different from each other, but it's always been delicious. Highly recommended.

We have eaten here every time we come to Miami and without fail the food is always excellent. The service is always friendly and courteous. The facilities are always immaculate. The decor is pleasant. The overall experience is always a great time. Management is constantly on the floor speaking with guests. The fried rice is amazing so you will want to have some.
