Tarpon Bend - Miami

This restaurant was recommended by a co-worker but I was not too impressed. I ordered the rosemary lemon chicken without the mashed potatoes, due to being on the Akins Diet. The potatoes were substituted with seasonal vegetables which consisted of carrots and rutabaga and I think ;potato ; wedges. Although the chicken was certainly very tasty, the vegetables were very dry and had a peculiar taste. That was all there was to eat and the cost of $14.95 for that meal seemed like Highway robbery. There should have been more to eat for that kind of money. I won 't be recommending Tarpon Bend to any of my co-workers! I felt the entire menu (particularly for lunch) was quite steep! We would have gotten a better meal at Christy 's for the same price!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, and I believe it offers the finest seafood in Coral Gables. The staff is not only friendly but also very knowledgeable, and the decor is stylish yet understated.

The ambiance is quite pleasant, but I hope they would enhance the quality of their food. It's on the same level as chain restaurants like TGI Fridays.

I was really impressed with my overall experience at Tarpon Bend. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. The restaurant is clean and has a cozy atmosphere that feels welcoming without being overly pretentious.
