Can’t fault it. We took our three dogs and it was great to be at such a dog friendly hotel. The food was great, the room was a lovely size and had the personal doggy touch of three bonios waiting for our dogs! Beautiful grounds, with a river at the bottom of the property which our dogs loved walking along and playing in Great location for dog walking, with some lovely walks minutes away by car Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be recommending to friends and will be returning!

Right on the side of the A377 a great location. We were there for a friends wedding and they did an amazing job of catering for everyone and supporting the happy couple

The carvery was first class...the beef was really tender and cooked to perfection

We regularly visit the country man in North Tawton for our Sunday lunches . We thought for a change we would try your establishment as we had family visiting. We wasn't very impressed with our Sunday lunch it was cold and the gravy was the flavour and consistency of water .

Stopped when passing by…first time great pint of Sanford cider…second time in the morning on way to catch a train to Barnstaple on the Tarka line so just coffee. Lovely hotel with nice bar area. Dog very…seemed quite busy… maybe one day we might be able to stay for longer
