Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant has changed ownership several times in recent years. At one point, it was run by a London publican who was not knowledgeable about fish and chips. It is primarily a take-out establishment, and considered the best in Burgess Hill and the surrounding villages. The staff is friendly and efficient. It is advised to disregard older reviews as the restaurant is now in the hands of experts. A new menu will be introduced in January 2023. The cod and haddock are both thick and topped with crispy batter. The chips are hand-cut from fresh potatoes and everything is cooked to order. The restaurant is busy on Friday and Saturday evenings and offers a variety of side dishes. The spring rolls are a good size and there is a children's menu available. The restaurant is now open on Mondays and offers delivery through Deliveroo. It is now called Station Fish Bar and is located on Keymer Parade, a 2-minute walk uphill from Burgess Hill Station. Overall, it comes highly recommended.
Not as nice as used to be since prices have gone up I think quality has gone down Cod is almost all batter and quite greasy chips are hard
Nice portion size and grease free both fish and chips Great phone orders and great tasting fish nicely cooked Vegetarian options
I ordered takeout last night. The food was great as always and the delivery was exceptionally fast. The fish was thick and not small or flat, with a crispy batter. There were a lot of chips, in fact so many that I couldn't finish them all. Overall, a really satisfying meal.
Just bought haddock and chips. We had them delivered .The delivery arrived 20 minutes later. The meal arrived hot.. Not at all greasy..The fish was a generously sized in length and thickness..The chips were crisp. Definitely recommend.
