Greyhound Inn - Mid Sussex

My brother and I happened to walk into this pub after a hike on the Downs. We had been rejected by pubs in Ditchling, so thought we would take our chances here. We had to wait 1.5 hours to see if they would have availability, but they accommodated us, all the bar staff were super nice and friendly. The food was good also! Vegetarian options: Nice nut roast! The food took 35 minutes to arrive, and the waitress did not explain the wait time when we ordered. My husband's lamb kofta was average, and my sausages were also just okay. However, I was disappointed to find that my mashed potatoes were watery and unseasoned, and the peas were frozen. Overall, we were not satisfied and do not plan on returning to this restaurant. The price per person was between £20-30, with a rating of 3 for the food, 2 for the service, and 1 for the atmosphere.

This restaurant is simply fantastic. It continues to maintain its excellence. The cost is £1-10 per person. The food is rated 5 out of 5, as is the service.
