Quickchek - Middletown

Waited for 20 minutes for a drink and just ended after watching the staff spend 10 minutes pumping an empty bottle. Went into the bathroom and it looked like a post apocalyptic film with how filthy it was. I love this place, but now I never come again.

Came for morning coffee and gas, went to use the ladies room and there was absolutely zero toilet paper. Brought it to 2 different employees attention and they did nothing. For all 4 toilet paper rolls to be empty just means whoever responsibility it is to clean the bathroom just doesn't want to do their job. Unbelievable and unprofessional employees. Unrelated to this a few weeks ago I came for a sub and food poisoning kicked in before I even finished the sandwich, same thing with their mozzarella sticks. Seems like they need a lot of extra help and a LOT of retraining, and the people working the food and drink counter should probably go get their food safety certificates recertified since it's consistently giving food poisoning. Overall not a great location and pretty rude employees.

I have been here more than a few times. Somethings I like. Other things leave room for improvement. They have quite a few fuel pumps with decent room for vehicles. I have tried and tried, but have never cared for their coffee. But that could just be my preference. The sandwich area is OK. I hate the kiosk ordering. It feels way to robotic for me. I prefer human interaction. But it does allow you to order food the way you want it. Less chance for confusion. The store seems mostly clean, although I cannot comment on the restrooms, since I've never used them. The staff are sometimes very friendly. Other times, It comes across as their doing me a favor. But mostly positive interactions. Not everybody has a good day everyday. So I hope they were just not on their best, but maybe didn't realize it. All in all not a bad Quickcheck. It could be better, but not bad. They are in a very convenient location.

I know, I know who leaves a review for a convenience store/gas station? But the women at the checkout here every weekend morning when I stop for coffee or water on the way to open my store for the day ALWAYS set the mood for my day. They are pleasant, friendly and kind. You really don't always get that at other convenience stores.

Convenient location on Dolson just off I.84 exit 3W. Clean, well stocked. Sandwiches are made well, orders are filled quickly and accurately. Coffee stations are always filled and fresh. A mid-sized location, somewhat smaller than some of the other local locations, but still is my local choice. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the restrooms are not consistently well maintained.
