Explorer's Cafe - Midland

We enjoyed the most delicious dinner with friendly permission from the Explorer restaurant! we have not made any food supplements since the beginning of the pandemic last March, but we are ever happy that we have made it! what a fantastic meal! we both ordered the lame. they were absolutely delicious complete with kartoffels, Brussels spits and carrots all perfectly cooked. a separate container with the most delicious gravure and the finishing touch was a small amount of giremolita to care about the tip of her dinner! fantastic! so tasteful! wow! much fun! you know how to do it right! we will enjoy a dinner of them in the near future! thank you!

They use local food (small, etc.) in their recipes from all over the world. always different decisions from different continentals. read the menus always carefully for hot spices. some will really burn them. ask the waiter if not sure.

I was in many restaurants from toronto to midland. the explorer is by far my favorite restaurant. we were here for both birthdays, business Christmas celebrations and good old children free night out the care of the owners ron and those at the selection of the...front and back of the house personnel shows. your glass never goes empty and you bubble is never empty, but comfortably want more for the delicious food and wine. Our new favorite appetizer on the menu is the beef carpaccio. fried kaper (which in their mouth almost make that they want a bowl of them) slices of red bevel, the claws supplement the bark meat. they want more. you almost feel like a child who wants to lick the plate clean from sauce. the duck jam is my favorite, you have to get twice. that melts in her mouth that if they don't get the double-legged, they will be disappointed with themselves to not get it. the meal always comes with delicious seasonal vegetables that are perfectly cooked. the steak is always cooked to perfection and is as delicate as butter. the garlic crimped up is to die. a clip you can't go wrong with. all the servings are generous, but not too much that if they choose, they have one of the desserts. the chai cream brulee is velvety smooth with the perfect balance of chai. when they are in the mood for cry, they have covered you. the selection is extensive and worth the visit alone. if they sit on one side of the restaurant, they can actually see in the weinfeuchter. if they do not know what they get the personal is extremely knowledgeable and will always lead them to the best bottle or glass for their meal. this restaurant is the best part of the center. a small piece for the food sky in our small town. many thanks rob, jen and staff for another great visit!

Absolutely amazing! This place is off the charts! Amazing food and service! We are here on our Honeymoon and they made our dinner extra special! Definitely be back again!

This was our second diner at Explorers and it is fast becoming a destination drive from Barrie just for the food. From appetizers to desert you will not be disapointed and in fact will be hard pressed to find better! The national geographis gentleman explorers...club feel and ambiance and back story of the owns is worth a visit to see as well. Wait staff is amazing and friendly as well.
