Bidra med feedbackMy second visit there for a meal. My partner and I took our two friends there and the meals were excellent, perfectly cooked and piping hot. The staff are extremely helpful and very pleasant. The manager made a point of checking to see if we were satisfied with everything, goes without saying we were. Definitely worth a visit so will be back soon. Keep up this excellent service
A great little spot to eat or just chill out with a drink. Sports available on tv and food is tasty pub grub with a few specials thrown in. It has a quiz on a Monday and other events throughout the weeks such as open mic nights etc. I often use this as place to grab a drink before heading into town as it’s on a good bus route.
Cute little hotel. The rooms are fairly small and spartan. Staff were nice and the price of the room quite agreeable. The breakfast offered was absolutely great as well. Unfortunately there were no available rooms so we could only stay one night, otherwise I would have happily stayed at the Laird Dog Inn for longer, as it turned out to be the best hotel stay of my Edinburgh trip!
My room was fine, nothing more or less than I expected for the price. The shower was excellent. The floor was a bit dusty though so found my feet got a bit dirty when they were damp. Dinner was fine, well priced. Breakfast was included and was a very welcome meal to kick start the day
I spent two nights here with breakfasts, and also dinner on one evening with two friends. The room was fine, with clean bedding and white towels. I slept well. The water hot, and the shower, brilliant. The staff are very professional and the food was exceptionally good, with generous helpings. My bill for the whole of this, accommodation, 5 meals and several drinks was very acceptable. Another plus was a large carpark immediately behind the building. Also for anyone visiting Edinburgh, the Laird and Dog can be accessed from South of the city with very little trouble from traffic. Then there are regular buses into town.
