Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is clean, offers great service, and serves delicious food. During my first visit, I was very pleased with everything. Our server was friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the gyro dinner while my wife opted for the souvlaki dinner, and both dishes were flavorful. The server was attentive and checked on us regularly. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would definitely return.
As we perused the menu, I noticed they offer a wide range of options beyond just Greek cuisine, including pasta, pizza, sandwiches, and subs. If you're unsure of what you want, this is a perfect place to explore your options. Now, for the food: - **Gyro Dinner:** Naturally, I was in the mood for Greek food, so I had to try this. It comes with fries and a salad, and the fries were excellent! At first glance, the gyro didn't seem to have much meat, but one bite proved me wrong—there was plenty! The garlic spread served on the side was fantastic. - **Turkey Pita Wrap Lunch Special:** Just as described, but it was very tasty. It came with a side of chips. - **Half Order of Special Spaghetti:** The half portion was enormous! It was topped with a generous layer of cheese, and finding pepperoni in it was a nice surprise. Plus, it came with a large meatball. - **Complimentary Bread:** Delicious! Everything we ordered was excellent, and the prices were even better! This place is definitely a go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal.
I’m writing this now because we recently decided to give Crazy Greek another chance. This time, I avoided the moussaka and ordered chicken parmesan, while my husband chose veal parmesan. Unfortunately, the chicken was clearly a pre-breaded patty served with spaghetti and sauce—meh! My husband said his veal was tough and had an off taste. The rolls, or should I say two-day-old rolls, were dry with a dark brown crust and chewy. On a positive note, the Greek salad was still good. But after three tries, I'm done with Crazy Greek. I'll gladly drive a little further down the road where I know the chicken parmesan is delicious, and I'm willing to travel even further for some excellent Greek food!
We were told by some friends that Crazy Greek was a nice place for a meal. My wife ordered a salad with grilled chicken and thought that it was very good. I ordered the sailor sandwich and fries. Which is Pastrami, swiss cheese, and a knockwurst sandwich with grilled rye bread. I got the fries added since the waitress said that they make the best fries in town. When they came out I mentioned that they didn't look hit and fresh and she said that they aren't there normal fries. The grilled rye was the best part of my meal. They must have supply problems because they used breakfast sausage links instead of a knockwurst AND never mentioned it to me in advance. When I called my waitstaff member over, she agreed that it was odd and headed back to the kitchen. She never came back except to drop off the bill. I saw a pizza as we left and might try that but forget the rest. Staff seemed uncaring and kitchen unknowing.
Y 'all I know what you are thinking... Why in the world would I go to a Greek restaurant for breakfast?!? Answer: Because it is the perfect combination of delicious, cheap, and homemade. Proceed with confidence and thank me later. My go to here is the same each and every time: The Big Breakfast (2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese, 4 sausage links, home fries, and 2 chocolate chip pancakes) is where it 's at, and for $8.50, you can 't beat it. The portion size is huge, the home fries are AMAZING (think course chopped potatoes, pan fried with onions awesome blend of soft, firm, crispy and mushy), and they have yet to upcharge me for adding cheese to my eggs or adding chocolate chips to my pancakes. And the sausage...man, the sausage links are incredible. They are sweet and savory, and probably over two inches in circumference. They are great! My only detractor from 5 Stars is the service as much as I love this place, no one seems to be in a hurry during the breakfast hours (not the hostess, not the wait staff). Always friendly, but don 't expect an overly expedient experience.
