Bidra med feedbackWe were told by some friends that Crazy Greek was a nice place for a meal. My wife ordered a salad with grilled chicken and thought that it was very good. I ordered the sailor sandwich and fries. Which is Pastrami, swiss cheese, and a knockwurst sandwich with grilled rye bread. I got the fries added since the waitress said that they make the best fries in town. When they came out I mentioned that they didn't look hit and fresh and she said that they aren't there normal fries. The grilled rye was the best part of my meal. They must have supply problems because they used breakfast sausage links instead of a knockwurst AND never mentioned it to me in advance. When I called my waitstaff member over, she agreed that it was odd and headed back to the kitchen. She never came back except to drop off the bill. I saw a pizza as we left and might try that but forget the rest. Staff seemed uncaring and kitchen unknowing.
Y 'all I know what you are thinking... Why in the world would I go to a Greek restaurant for breakfast?!? Answer: Because it is the perfect combination of delicious, cheap, and homemade. Proceed with confidence and thank me later. My go to here is the same each and every time: The Big Breakfast (2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese, 4 sausage links, home fries, and 2 chocolate chip pancakes) is where it 's at, and for $8.50, you can 't beat it. The portion size is huge, the home fries are AMAZING (think course chopped potatoes, pan fried with onions awesome blend of soft, firm, crispy and mushy), and they have yet to upcharge me for adding cheese to my eggs or adding chocolate chips to my pancakes. And the sausage...man, the sausage links are incredible. They are sweet and savory, and probably over two inches in circumference. They are great! My only detractor from 5 Stars is the service as much as I love this place, no one seems to be in a hurry during the breakfast hours (not the hostess, not the wait staff). Always friendly, but don 't expect an overly expedient experience.
Just an update that the past 2 times here (10/21/17 12/2/17), there was a decline in the quality of food, specifically the sausage, which was incredibly fatty and inedible, and bacon that tasted more like crackling. Perhaps they changed their supplier but the decline was enough to knock off a star and to try a new [to us] breakfast place. I 'm sure we will be back and I still want to try dinner, but unfortunately will no longer be the regular breakfast spot when in the area.
Went there about 2 months ago. Had spaghetti a meatball. Not impressed at all. The spaghetti was precooked and barely warmed up. The sauce bland and the meatball very dense and tough. Looking around I saw torn and worn carpeting. The walls need new paint or wall paper. This place screams redo renovate and a new chef. Go elsewhere
We have been enjoying Crazy Greek since they opened. They treat everyone special and their menu is vast. One week it may just be two of us and the next week it might be 14 of us. It doesn't matter because the staff takes wonderful care of providing a great experience with something for every taste bud. The bread, salads and variety of delicious large portions always have you leaving very happy.
