The Courtyard Cafe - Midrand

Great setting, great service but what I liked the most is the exceptional food quality for such a good price. I heard another couple say that the food is better then some of Gauteng 's most prestigious restaurants, and I fully agree. The coffee is brewed by expert barista 's and there 'Bunless burger ' is both unique and tasty. I almost forgot the smoothies... I didn 't like smoothies much, but their 'Purple ' smoothie is heavenly.

The Courtyard Cafe is a hidden health gem nestled in a very quiet and tranquil part of Midrand.<br/ <br/ The Courtyard Café was established in January 2016. The objective was a gathering point for Born Again believers to assemble and to discuss the Lord ****. Christ Church Midrand gets people together to celebrate the joys and struggles over coffee and a meal. What started as a vision of a coffee shop, grew into a breakfast and lunch café.<br/ <br/ All meals are authentic, as pure as it 's gets. The Courtyard Café’s foods are real, simple and delicious. Everything is made from scratch both true and pure. Ice-cream, freshly squeezed juices, artisan breads, fresh cakes, burger buns and sweet treats are all made on the courtyards premises.<br/ <br/ What makes this restaurant unique is it 's not in it for the profit....<br/ <br/ YES! all the profits derived here, finds its way back into Christ Church and into the missions of the Church.<br/ <br/ Any excess food generated by the café on a daily basis, is donated to Nokuphila School, a Love Trust initiative.<br/ <br/ There are a few experienced staff members, many of the staff are recent culinary school or barista graduates. The staff members are assist in gaining valuable work experience at The Courtyard Café. There is also a school on the property (Christ Church Preparatory School and College) giving mature learners the opportunity to gain work experience as waiters.<br/ <br/ The prices are very reasonable, I would go as far as saying the prices here are cheap!<br/ What you would pay for a meal at a fancy restaurant... subtract at least 30%.<br/ It 's tranquility and purity is so pleasing to the soul. Operating hours need to be checked up upon, as when profitability is not your desire life and the term 'business hours ' falls away.<br/ <br/ With preservatives and so much chemical induction into food, it 's so incredible to have a real meal made out of pure ingredients. The lasagna is to ....cry for! You can honestly taste the purity and lack of artificial ingredients... This heavenly courtyard cafe is a must...<br/ <br/ The Courtyard Cafe... where life is good all the time and all the time....life is good.<br/ <br/

Had a lovely Light Sunday lunch here. The service was fanatic, the food well presented and delicious! The hot chocolate was absolutely delicious!
