Bidra med feedbackWe usually LOVE Cabo Wabo and it’s always our go to bar in Las Vegas. Service was outstanding (Laura is the best! , but their signature CW margaritas have changed and they’ve cheaped out on both the tequila and mixers. Used to be made with Sammy’s tequila and Grand Marnier, but you can taste the inferior tequila and orange juice they put in the drinks now. Sad to say that unless they go back to their old recipe, we won’t be going back. Food was very good though, as was the music and ambiance! Please bring back your original recipe for your CW margs!
Five star food in a three star setting. Typical Cantina on the inside small tables and chairs. They get props for the outside seating area, which has umbrellas and a very small bar, but overlooks the downtown scene. Chips and guac are fresh and healthy portions. Authentic salsa, the shrimp dish I had which I will post a picture has the most unique flavors. Apparently the shrimp sauce is a chipotle paste thinned out with a Mexican brown sugar. They serve it with grilled bread and it is absolutely delicious. We had a steak fajita and two delicious blood orange margaritas. Total bill for the three of us was $145 not including tip. Stefan was our sweet and he was excellent. He even found the name of the refined brown sugar used in my dish.!
Food was spicy everything they brought out the appetizers out the same time as the meals so by the time we ate the appetizers our main courses where cold chairs where super uncomfortable for 120 dollar meal to me was not worth it
Food and drinks were fantastic but server looked like she wanted to be somewhere else.
Everything was amazing, but the pricing. It is Vegas, so I should’ve adjusted my expectations. I also ordered an hour before happy hour begin, so I probably should’ve waited. Also, their frozen alcoholic drinks are weak, so I would order an extra shot, if you want a good Vegas buzz.
