One of our favorite restaurants, where we used to dine frequently, has seen a decline in service as the staff has become younger. Generally, we enjoy good treatment, but today we felt as if we had done something wrong. When we inquired about our appetizer, the server rolled her eyes. Upon her return, we received only four fritters for a table of seven. I had ordered a Polish sausage sandwich but was served a hot dog instead. Given the staff's apparent annoyance, I decided to simply pay for a brisket sandwich rather than asking them to correct the order. It was unclear why everyone was in such a bad mood, but our entire family felt uncomfortable. This experience was quite disappointing, especially after spending over $80 for lunch.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant this week! The food was amazing, and I can't believe I waited so long to eat here again. A few years ago, I dined here with my partner, and it’s been a while since I've enjoyed it as much. I highly recommend this place!

This restaurant is a classic gem that offers delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. Even though I'm not a fan of BBQ, I absolutely love this place! It has a lovely space perfect for small gatherings or get-togethers. The staff is incredibly friendly, and it's a family-owned establishment. It's definitely one of my favorite spots. You'll definitely be happy you decided to give it a try!

I eat here once a month with an alumni group in the side dining room which easily accommodates our 10 or so attendees. Customers order at the counter and then pick up the order at the counter when your name is called. Daily lunch specials are posted. Spencers has stepped outside the barbecue world by offering a new prime rib sandwich with aus jus. There was a lot of bread with not enough meat for the price (over $11 which includes one side and a drink). I will stick with the barbecue which is always good. You can sauce it at the table with medium or hot. Drink stations offer sweet/unsweetened tea and sodas. The staff is friendly and helpful with information about the menu. Oh, and you can register for a free meal birthday/anniversary club.
