Consistorial - Mieres

We have family here in Mieres and have our family lunches here almost all the time. After having tried other places, we feel that it’s a good place and everything they do is good here, and you won’t leave hungry! The fabada and pote asturiano are stellar (they have been the finalist or winner of these two categories so one shouldn’t wonder why... , meats and fish have always been good, too! I have no complaints whatsoever of this restaurant. Good price-quality-quantity here. No fancy shmancy, just good old traditional food in a pleasant and non pretentious setting!

Visited hotel consistorial for a glass of wine on their terrace. The wine was excellent and reasonably priced. Free tapas too which was excellent. Some may be put off by the look of waiters in waistcoats assuming expensive. Not so! Would highly recommend.

Friendly service and good 'home cooking ' and large portions. A family run business which is well run. Always a pleasure to visit for a meal

Tenemos mucho de la cachopo, el entrecot de ternera y el pastel de cabra que pedimos. Pedimos una especie de crepe llena de crema, que también nos trajo mucho. Aparte de estos platos tan ricos, el sitio destaca por la amabilidad del personal y en particular los propietarios, irene y josé y por la decoración del local: clásico elegante. repetiremos cuando regresemos el área.

Poco se puede decir de la extraordinaria cocina de La Consistorial. Hoy fue fabada, deliciosa y abundante. Lo riegas con un buen vino y arroz con leche y quedas perfecto
