Carriage Corner - Mifflinburg

The food is average, but the atmosphere is comfortable and quaint. Not sure it’s worth the price, though. A little too tourist-trappy for me.

Bad service and less than stellar food. When we asked the waitress what was on one of the sandwiches (the menu only had the names), not only could she not tell us, but also couldn’t be bothered to find out the information. The mushrooms on the hamburger were at room temperature and the cheese was just-out-of-the-refrigerator cold. The actually burger was bland. The beef vegetable soup also lacked seasoning. The only redeeming quality was the hostess, who was very nice and give us free monkey bread.

This was a nice local restaurant for a no fuss meal. Service was good, food came fast, and the quality and price were good. We were in and out in less than 40 mins, the price was only a few dollars more than what we would have paid at McDonald's. I got the roast beef dinner on a Sunday afternoon and have no complaints. Yes it's a little dated and it's not fine dinning but that's not what they are trying to be either. This was our first time here and we would definitely stop again.

We had a pleasant experience at this local restaurant for dinner. The service was attentive, our food arrived quickly, and both the quality and pricing were reasonable. We spent less than 40 minutes there, and the bill was only a few dollars higher than what we might have spent at McDonald's. I ordered the Brat-Rind dinner on a Sunday afternoon, and I have no complaints whatsoever. While the decor may be a bit outdated and it isn't fine dining, that's not the goal they are aiming for. This was our first visit, and we would definitely return.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!
