The best sandwiches in the world ever! This place is a delight and a must for lunch. The variety of sandwiches is mind blowing, the quality is amazing, the drinks are great and also good value. The ambience is lovely, they deserve to be always busy as the food is such great quality. The food comes out quickly too.

If you are at or near the Duomo and want a quick, cheap, satisfying and delicious meal, this walk-up sandwich place is the only place you need to know about. Starting at only €7/$7.50, you can get a 10” panino prepared to order from many dozens of choices. Your sandwich starts with fresh bread that is briefly toasted in an oven and then your sandwich is assembled by hand. Step up to the cashier, place your order, pay, step aside, and when your sandwich is ready your order number (located at the bottom of your receipt) will be called out in a few minutes, depending on how busy they are. You will likely have to wait in line as Cesarino is very popular, but the line moves along. There are some tables out front and some counter space inside.

An absolute delight of a panini. It was our first meal in Milano and it was a great decision. Savoured every bite while walking around the Duomo.

Attratto dalle Recensioni sono stato per la Prima Volta da Cesarino (Buono più del Pane in via Pattari 2 a Milano (proprio alle spalle del Duomo! . Che dire? Qualità delle Materie Prime (ovvero sia del Pane che degli Ingredienti in Esso contenuti STRATOSFERICA; lo stesso vale per le Birre, gli Spritz e le Insalate che vedevo passare tra i Tavoli. Per un panino o un aperitivo, Cesarino è un must in centro a Milano, proprio dietro al Duomo. Propongono molti panini, con vasta scelta di salumi e anche vegetariani, intorno ai €7, molto corposi. Fatto aperitivo più volte con amici, sia consumazione sul posto sia d'asporto. I drink costano intorno ai €5, e da mangiare ti portano un sacchettino di patatine a testa, per il prezzo e la posizione onestissimo. Volendo, si può aggiungere anche un tagliere da condividere, tra i €5 e i €10, con proposte di formaggi, salumi e pomodorini. L'ultima volta che ci sono andata ero di fretta, e mi hanno preparato tutto in meno di un minuto. Fantastici. Per chi non vuole un luogo fancy e vuole anche spendere poco, questo è il posto giusto.
