My family and I visited Sorrento’s tonight and the atmosphere was very chaotic . There was a party waiting to be seated and apparently they didn’t have there reservation. As we were waiting to be seated many patrons coming out didn’t have anything good to say. The staff seemed very disorganized and didn’t know what they were doing. It took them 20 minutes to acknowledge me at the bar area to order a drink and the one person behind the bar couldn’t remember my order and had to write down two drinks . We tried to be understanding knowing that it was the first week of the new opening. Not one of the staff members had a smile on there face and after 45 minutes, we drove down the street to Prezzos along with a few other costumers. Maybe they can take the constructive criticism and make some changes. I can’t even give the place at least a star.

My Mom worked here over 40 yrs ago. I have folded thousands of pizza boxes there. Back then it was the Sorrento Room and was the best. Been there a few times recently and they are good but lost some heart. Joe used to run this place like a machine, made their own blue cheese, pasta and many other items. The downfall of the Sorrento Room was when Joe purchased a place on a rotary the Bourne. Well they redid the roads and traffic was diverted away causing it to fail. That loss was to much to sustain. This place is still worth the visit but some of the wait staff need work
