I really wanted to give this restaurant a good rating, but unfortunately I cannot. I was in town on business and visited twice. I tried the pizza and then the ribs. The pizza was decent, but lacked flavor aside from the brisket topping. The brisket itself was excellent. However, the ribs were disappointing. They were dry and lacked any flavor. It felt like a waste of money. In addition, my takeout order did not come with napkins, silverware, or cornbread. I have family and friends in the area, but I will not be recommending this place to them. Considering the price and the fact that it is a smokehouse, I expected much higher quality ribs. I will not be returning, not even if I moved to Mitford.

This restaurant is a great spot for lunch. The dine-in service is excellent, and the meal type is lunch. The price per person ranges from $30 to $50. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 5. Highly recommended dish: the burger.

OMG! Fantastic BBQ! It smells so good when you walk in the door that your mouth starts watering immediately. Our server was Adrianne and she was fantastic. Such a nice person. I never eat barbecued ribs without sauce on them. This time I did! They were so delicious as they were. The blend of barbecue spices was out of this world. It's a very casual dining area, nothing upscale about it, but boy do they know how to make barbecue! I couldn't wait to dig in and forgot to take a picture of my food! We ordered the combo with barbecued ribs and chicken. I guess the chicken usually come smoked but we asked to have it fried. I had been wanting fried chicken for a few days, but you can't find it anywhere like my mother used to make it. OMG! The fried chicken is also out of this world. It was fantastic. It came with a side of cornbread. We picked green beans and mac and cheese for our two sides. Wow, both sides were excellent also. I literally wanted to return the next day. Also very generous portions!

Always fast, friendly service. My kids are super happy with the menu choices and the staff is excellent. It is a consistent good choice for dining in or taking out.
