Really cute Cafe and great shop with some unique jewellery and books. Great take away coffee and lovely seating area with a FAB kids area

Small shop front, missed it as we walked pass first time on the other side of Street, but were so glad we found it the second time...and had lunch in spacious area behind the kitchen. Homemade food, the coffee everything juice was delicious, served...by friendly staff, on vintage crockery. Huge chalk board in cordoned off kids play area to share your story at the back, with big comfy sofas, colourful mix of dining chairs, plus books, beautiful pictures, crafts (for sale).

Pleasant cafe with friendly staff, good food and fresh juices. Huge sandwiches, delish frittata with a very delicious chutney! Coffee more country style, but it was very good and a nice change from what we’d get in the city. (We were a group and everyone...was impressed).. Lightly air conditioned so it wasn’t freezing but took the edge off. Inside was very comfortable and homey with local art and some books and crafts for sale. After walking up and down the Main Street, checking out all the cafes,, this was definitely a refreshing little spot in a typical country town. Really happy place, will return.

Just dropped in to this delightful cafe today based on phone recommendation. We had coffee and cakes. Coffees were excellent and so were the cakes. All made fresh on the premises. It was very much a family affair with Mum and son serving. Great decor...with comfy chairs and lounges. We look forward to our next visit.

We decided to travel to Boonah after watching a travel program on TV. The Story Tree was touted as a great place to visit and eat. As others have said, it is a quirky place with very friendly staff. The food was quite good. I...had a beef roll which was a sausage roll in pastry. The quality of the beef was very good, but it needed something to give it a kick. The chutney accompanying it was very good, but it really needed a good tomato ketchup, in my opinion. The salad of pumpkin, kale and raisins/seeds was good, although kale is not a favourite of mine. My partner had the quiche and she said it was excellent. Our coffees were disappointing. Mine had an unusual taste not unpleasant, just strange.
