Hibachi Express - Milledgeville

I absolutely love this restaurant! It's my preferred choice when I crave hibachi food without the high prices. I usually order the Land Lover's, which comes with steak and chicken, and I always ask for extra rice. Plus, they offer extra yum sauce for just about ninety-three cents. The food is excellent, and the service is great too!

Just be prepared to wait about 10 minutes upon arrival since most of the food is made fresh, which can take a bit longer for Asian dishes. The location is a bit tucked away, so keep an eye out for the motel nearby!

If you're seeking an affordable alternative to traditional sit-down hibachi, this place is a decent choice. The vegetables are consistently good, but occasionally the proteins can be overcooked. However, you can't really argue with the value for the price. They offer Pepsi products, and the dining area is quite comfortable.

Describing this restaurant as Japanese is a bit of a stretch. There were no tonkatsu, gyudon, or yakitori on the menu—only typical Chinese-style fried dumplings that you could find at any Chinese restaurant, and the fried rice was dry and lacking flavor. They might consider renaming it to Generic Asian Stir Fry Express. Additionally, the customer seating area felt cluttered with random restaurant equipment and supplies. At the very least, they could have put a tablecloth over the table they were using for storage. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and capable.
