Bidra med feedbackNice, small batch winery. Mostly have fruit wines that are made with local produce. The tasting area is very small and there isn't a real bathroom (nicely maintained outhouse), but we had a really nice time sitting on the patio, drinking a glass, and enjoying the fall weather. Would go back if I was in the area again.
Very small, awkward, and not impressive. The wine is mediocre, unfortunately. My wife did enjoy the mango, however, you can find the same flavors at a liquor store and save the time, money, and gas. We spent 5 minutes there and we're happy to leave. Not worth the drive.
YES, he is open! Please understand he is the only one there. HE DOES IT ALL! We found this wonderful place by an internet search while in the area for another reason. We were over 3hrs from home and the owner feels like a friend to us. He is great, even after the tough time life has recently brought him. More so, his fruit wines are to die for, especially when one is in the mood for something so tasty! We really enjoyed the one on one with him and the two other couples that showed up during our visit. If we ever get anywhere near this area again this is the place, we will visit first and foremost! Thank you!!
Very cool little winery. Owner was very nice and let us sample as many as we wanted. I also bought the Cab, it was very good but I drank it before I could take a picture of it…. Oops!
We had a day out and remembered friends telling us about the place. We were very pleasantly surprised to find they have dry fruit wines(sweets also)! One being black currant! Never had one before. It's quite tasty! And such a refreshing change. The only other winery we've been to with dry fruit wines is in the Leech Lake area of Northern Minnesota. Its nice having a local winery with something delicious unique to offer.
