The most amazing hot pastrami in San JoseThe hot pastrami sandwich is pricy, but worth it I can assure you.The sourdough bread combined with fresh, juicy pastrami is something really special and I look forward to coming back every time I’m in San Jose (every few months at least)Plenty of seating outside as well as seating inside.

We've been on the hunt for a new favorite sandwich shop. A few that we've tried have good sandwiches but no outdoor seating and one had poor customer service. CRUST is well-named toward the chewy crust on their sourdough bread but could be called UPPER CRUST for their customer service. A bonus, they also have outdoor seating! We had made a mistake in our online order and the manager went out of his way to help. Our sandwiches (the Royal and Chipotle Chicken) were delicious and well-balanced. Not too much of any one item and the meat was of high quality. The manager even treated us to a warm lemon coconut cookie. Our initial frustration due to our ordering mistake was soon forgotten, largely due to his kindness. It's refreshing to find quality food, friendly staff and top-notch service so close to home. Amazing sandwiches. Perfect sourdough, not too thick. Great sauce. Excellent meat to veggie ratio. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here once a week. This may be the best in the South Bay. Everything on point and so simple to order food here. Great service too, everyone was super nice even though the lunch rush was busy. I will definitely come back when I am in Milpitas again.

Neighborhood gem!! CRUST is a cute family owned business and their warm and impeccable service really brightened my day. I'll be back for their fresh sourdough: crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. My husband and I got the Italian and 3 Meat sandwiches to split half/half. Both were delicious! Tip: I would recommend the spicy sauce. It isn't too spicy but adds an addicting kick to the taste.

First time here. The quality is outstanding. Boars head meats and fresh sour dough bread, are the perfect combo. (I ordered the Turkey/Salami “premier”. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Environment had easy parking, easy ordering and overall a great lunch. Highly recommend.
