Zizzi The Hub - Milton Keynes

This restaurant showed complete discrimination towards us. We waited at our table for 25 minutes without being served, while all other customers who arrived after us were promptly served. No apologies were offered and the staff seemed happy to ignore us. It was not busy when we arrived.

I love Zizis. It's my favorite restaurant. The food was amazing, as always. The only thing is, the meatball pasta was very spicy. It did say it was spicy on the menu, but I wasn't expecting it to be that hot. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it.

I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant chain for the first time. The staff was welcoming, seated us promptly, and checked on us regularly throughout our evening. It was a lovely experience dining with my husband.

The food wasn't great. Calzone seemed quite empty, it was lacking of ingredients, a bit flat in general. My partner's food was much better. She had 6 layered lasagne, it tasted good but bread crumbs were not a good thing for a lasagne. Staff was very nice but we have not been asked if everything is okay with the food. Easy to communicate. During payment I was asked by waitress if I want to add tip with a hope in eye. To be fair I didn't really wanted to leave one but because waitress asked me I would felt wrong for not giving any. I believe that us customer should be handed over the terminal to choose if I want add gratitude so we don't fill judged.

Nice atmosphere, good food. Definitely will be coming back. Food was a bit expensive, but worth the price. It was a good date spot.
