Bidra med feedbackI went to Benji's Deli on Port Washington Rd near Bayside today and ordered the Mish Mosh soup. What I got was a disappointing bowl of noodles in a small amount of broth with a matza ball but no vegetables whatsoever, not even a tiny piece of carrot. It was definitely not worth the price. I would suggest avoiding the Mish Mosh soup if you decide to eat here.
The prices were a bit high. My burger was not prepared to my liking. I felt uncomfortable as the person in the kitchen kept staring at me.
This cozy deli offers bar and small table seating, serving up classic menu options. The Reuben sandwich is particularly delicious.
The classic deli sandwiches at this restaurant are fantastic! I've tried their soups a few times and while they are a bit pricey, they are very filling. The overall prices are on the higher side, but the quality of food is worth it.
The food is always good here. I prefer benjis in Shorewood, but that's mainly due to the atmosphere. However, I rate down one star due to cringey price increases. 2 coffees, 2 hot chocolates, and 4 cups of soup ran my family $50. I get inflation, I understand passing costs forward, but what was once a treat for my family is now untenable.
