Denny's - Milwaukee

We had ordered through Doordash this afternoon. A breakfast chicken fried steak with extra sausage and a dinner chicken fried steak. Added a side salad to the order. We didn't receive the sausage, toast, or the entire dinner chicken fried steak and theside salad came with no dressing or utensils. EXTREMELY disappointed.

Waited 25 minutes for two shakes. I ordered an Oreo shake online, but received one strawberry shake and one half-filled Oreo shake. The staff was constantly on their phone, talking while making food with their phone in hand. I felt like I wasted my money and time as the shakes looked unappetizing. It appeared as if someone had already taken a few sips from the Oreo shake. The employee didn't seem to care about the mistake.

It was not busy at all and it took forever to get our food. I ordered the Cobb salad and added chicken. The salad came and was missing the eggs and tomatoes. The server brought some tomatoes out but they were all squishy and told me there was no eggs forthe salad. I had ordered a coke before we placed our food order and I reminded him three times about it and he never brought it.My daughter ordered the kids meal burger, which they charged me for a full price side and 2.99 for her kids milk, which is notwhat is on the menu. Her burger bun was very hard on top of all this. my son ordered french toast, it was fine, overall the foodwas okay but not worth the cost and the service and cleanliness of the dining room was horrible. I still left him a good tip, itis not easy being a server, I know I was a server for 6 years and I get this is Denny's but we will never be back and will notrecommend people stop at this Dennys.

I haven't visited this restaurant in a long time because it was terrible the last few times we went years ago. However, I decided to give it another chance recently and found that it hasn't improved. The food was mediocre at best and not worth the high prices. The buffet had a lot of empty trays and old, dried out food. The restaurant was not very clean, especially the bathrooms. The only positive aspect of our visit was our excellent server.

The food was not flavorful and I ended up getting sick on my way home. Our waitress was friendly, but we had to repeatedly ask for simple things like drink refills. Half of my boyfriend's order was forgotten. We were so disappointed in the taste that we didn't even bother complaining. We won't be returning anytime soon. Dennys used to be a favorite of mine, but it seems like the quality has declined.
