Royal India - Milwaukee

I recently tried royal india because I was in the opposite and starved. the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived at a Friday night at 8. that's it.

The Gaumen distributor ordered, maybe it wasn't one of their best dishes, but it was quite unhappy and I didn't finish it.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner at this restaurant and were truly impressed by the hospitality of Chef Mukesh. He had our table prepared with balloons, candles, and beautiful decorations for free. He graciously took our photo to capture the special moments and always had a smile on his face, making our anniversary dinner experience unforgettable. The food was fresh, flavorful, and not greasy. We enjoyed the chicken masala, Gobi Manchurian, and Naan, which were all absolutely delicious. The prices were also reasonable. The service was prompt and efficient, with our food arriving quickly after ordering. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, with clean walls adorned with soothing artwork and lighting. They also have a good selection of liquors available. The menu is simple and easy to understand. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.

The food at this restaurant was incredibly tasty, however, the service left something to be desired. Our table was cramped, so we requested additional space from our server. Despite our complaint, we only received a few extra napkins without any additional cutlery. While the food was fantastic, we were disappointed with the service on this occasion. We have faith in the restaurant and hope that they will strive to improve in the future.

We are disappointed to say that Royal India, our favorite Indian restaurant for years, did not live up to our expectations. Despite using their new online ordering system, we encountered several issues. We placed our order, paid for it, arrived at the designated time but found the doors locked. After calling, we were told they were open and hung up on. When they finally opened the doors, our food was not ready and we had to wait for 30 minutes while another customer came and left with her order. When we finally got our food home, we realized something was missing. Despite calling and being told the missing item was included, it was not. There was no apology or offer to fix the mistake. Unfortunately, due to this experience, we will not be recommending Royal India to others and will be exploring other Indian restaurants in the area.
