Bidra med feedbackI ordered a carne en su jugo to go and paid around $12, leaving a $5 tip. When I got to my car, I realized I had forgotten to grab a soda, so I went back inside to get a Jarrito for $3.11. I intended to pay in cash, but only had three dollars on me. I tried to pay with a credit card, but they refused my transaction because it was under $5. I understand why they do this—credit card companies charge a fee of 15 cents plus around 2.6% for each transaction. However, if running a business means you can't absorb a 15-cent fee, that's a significant issue and reflects poorly on the business. It would be better to simply add those 15 cents and the percentage to all your prices so that you don't have to deal with the hassle of credit card fees.
The burritos at Fire are absolutely incredible—10/10! We went when it was quiet, and our burritos were ready in just 2 minutes. These guys are impressive! The food was packed with flavor and really stood out. Highly recommend!
The service and food were very good. The only downside is their restrooms.
I visit this restaurant once a month, and it consistently delivers good quality. While some reviewers have mentioned issues with service, I find it to be satisfactory. The staff is quick to take orders, and the food is always served promptly. They do take their time removing dishes from the table, and payment is made at the cashier, but that's not a significant issue. The portion sizes are reasonable, and the prices are very affordable for the value you receive.
When you sit down, the waitress brings over warm tortilla chips, a bowl of spicy salsa, and two bottles of sauce. The red sauce has a mole flavor that's a bit strong for my liking, but the green sauce is savory and my personal favorite. They don’t serve alcohol, but they do offer cans of soda, Jarritos, bottled Coca-Cola, and the best horchata in the city. The gorditas are both delicious and substantial. They also excel with chorizo, so I recommend trying the huevos y chorizo or the chorizo tostada. If you're really hungry, definitely go for their Jalisco burrito—it's massive, about the size of a Volkswagen! Whatever you choose to order, you and a guest can expect to spend around $20, drinks included. I bring everyone I know here, and they all rave about it. Even a well-traveled friend of mine remarked, "I didn’t even have Mexican food this good in Mexico!" So do yourself a favor and dine at this underrated culinary treasure.
