We have been living in uruguay for more than 5 years. we have eaten in restaurants in mwd, punta, piriapolis and atlantida. today's lunchtime in la galponera destroys them all by a factor of ten. the broth and the spread was incredible. I missed soft, dense but fine crumb bread. the spread was fresh and tangy. next the picada de parilla. everything was delicate and juicy, perfectly seasoned and cooked and not a spot of burn underneath. the pfeffer, the garlic, the wobble and the oil were perfectionized, as well as the dry cheese scrap was served with the meal. main courses: my wife had the ravioli verdura with 4 cheese sauce. the ricotta and spinach were the freshest possible, the pasta al dente, the sauce smooth. a total joy. I had the lasagne. a massive part! very rich! cheese and sauce were creamy ad delicuous, the pasta again al dente, the flesh crumbling fine. no fat! I had to take the half home and I'm so sorry that I was too full of dessert. affordable and excellent service. we will visit again and again.
