Cotton's Fried Chicken - Minden

I tried to visit this facility for almost the last six months. I would either go through the city and they were closed or they would be so packed that I could never explain why it took so long to get it back to work. Not today thanks to the rain gods... A girl in work would make me a record of gizzards if I brought something, and she mentioned cottons as the best place to get some. I tried a few other places and they were okay, but they just don't seem on the menu at many joints here. We were crisp, and 45 minutes from home and what to my surprise Cottons open and only three vehicles in the parking lot I spun in and ordered us a gizzard plate and two med drinks. It didn't take long to get my hot package and get back to the car and tear this bag. We played a game with our phones, so I'll knock it up to my phone by watching my eye watching the plate of perfectly fried nuggets and getting my mouth exploded with anticipation is the reason why I didn't catch a picture. I got the menu board while waiting... Delicious the batter the crunch the bit of heat at the end.... It was the next thing I ever did on my perfect plate of gizzards and then for other reasons better than. The Crunch was just as good 30 minutes later when I opened it. The season was great. Overall, the texture was fantastic, although there were some who had the chewing ointment that so many people say is why they avoid gizzards all together. There were few, so I have so much praise. I wish I could share the family secret because I took care of this chewing tendon, and if they share the seasonal and battery secret, I could easily. Can't wait to go back and get some more gizzards for the picture and grab some chicken or fish for the family.

We are from Tennessee was passing through best chicken and catfish I've ever had. Love the food, definitely will be back when passing through. Highly recommend!!! A local told me about the place definitely didn't disappoint.

This small yet nice place to vist has awesome chicken and fish,also the cheese cake is amazing(when it's not sold out)

Of all the chicken places in Minden, La this is the best. There fried fish is good to. The staff is friendly.

OMG this is the best chicken I’ve had. It’s just like southern classic. Their fast with your orders. Close at 9. Very friendly. There pies are the best. You won’t regret this chicken and more. Their fish plates are big also and good
