Bidra med feedbackThe classic okra soup and egusi soup were a disappointment. The pounded yam was too runny, resembling mashed potatoes rather than being solid enough to eat with my hands. The soups had an unusual sweetness and were overly seasoned with clover or allspice, leaving me unable to discern any pepper flavor. Everything had a strange mushy texture, and there was an excessive amount of palm oil. Overall, it was quite tragic. The dishes didn’t remind me of anything I’ve had in Africa or any cuisine prepared by African cooks. The presentation was almost there, but ultimately it was a failure. I regret spending money here trying to enjoy my favorite meals.
The best waakye I've ever had in Minneapolis! I stopped by for an appointment, and the waakye was amazing.
One thing’s for sure: she pours her heart into her cooking. These are the best beef tripe I’ve ever had! If you’re up for some spice, it’s absolutely amazing.
The food is absolutely amazing! They take pride in there Ghanaian entries. Always satisfied and left with wanting more. Highly recommended ???? ????
The classic okra soup and egusi soup were extremely disappointing. The pounded yam was so thick that it was nearly impossible to eat without choking on it, and it wasn’t firm enough to eat with my hands. Both soups had an odd sweetness and tasted overly seasoned, as if they were flavored with glue. I could barely taste any pepper at all. Everything I tried had a peculiar mushiness, and there was an overwhelming amount of palm oil. It was truly tragic. The flavors were nothing like what I had experienced in Africa or at other African restaurants. Additionally, the presentation was lacking, making the overall experience a failure. It’s so disappointing to have spent my money here when I was hoping to enjoy my favorite meal.
