Bidra med feedbackFujian Ya is undoubtedly one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever visited. While I'm not a big fan of sushi, their selection of non-sushi appetizers and duck dishes was exceptional. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and cozy, making it an ideal spot for a lovely dinner. The drink menu looked impressive, even though I didn't order any. Every aspect of our meal was simply delicious and flawlessly executed. If you're a meat lover, you absolutely must try the Yakiniku. The tempura ice cream was also a delightful surprise; we had the ginger flavor, and I was amazed at how much I enjoyed it! We experienced a slight delay before being seated, but the staff kept us informed, and everyone was incredibly polite and friendly. As the evening went on, our waiter took the time to chat with us, which made our experience even more enjoyable and memorable. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
Fujian Ya is undoubtedly one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Minneapolis. We really enjoy it, thanks to the wide variety of options available. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. It's a fantastic spot for a Date Night escape!
I recently visited this restaurant with a friend after noticing it frequently on my street. The food is fantastic, and the cocktails are excellent! We ordered a variety of sashimi and sushi rolls, and the staff was incredibly helpful in assisting us with our selections. The atmosphere is lovely, making it perfect for a quick lunch or a nice dinner.
Good quality sushi! Beautiful ambience on both sides of the restaurant (there is a quieter, dimly-lit side, and a casual side with bright lighting and good overhead music. The help is exemplary. Patient and professional. Real 'feel-good' settings, everywhere. Super clean bathroom. Price is fair. Value is good. Hour is a bargain! Well done, Fuji Ya.
The ambience was perfect. For groups seeking a pleasantly situated happy hour in a cozy little lounge fixed with a bar and sushi counter on each side of the room, look no further. Larger groups however would more likely be situated in the dining room, which is much larger and has louder music. As for my group of three, we were just in time for happy hour, receiving our drinks quite timely given the amount of people in the room. When it came to our food, we each had ordered about 2 rolls a piece, but service took quite long, even for sushi. The reason I ranked five stars given this discrepancy is because the quality was superb. I would have liked to see more attentive service when it came to refilling my Coca-Cola, but I also appreciate the lack of an overeager server; the one who asks how everything is right as you take a huge bite? To summarize, Fuji Ya has something for sushi lovers, happy hour humans, and solo eaters alike. Definitely worth the trade off over all you can eat places.
