Harriet's Inn - Minneapolis

Harriet's Inn knows exactly what they're doing, and they execute it flawlessly. This rare local gem offers a full selection of liquors, beers, and wines. Their menu features American cuisine crafted with intention. The food is surprisingly satisfying for a pub, far exceeding expectations. While there are televisions for sporting events, the atmosphere is not overly sporty, creating a cozy and inviting environment.

This restaurant is incredible! The food was fantastic, and our waiter, Colin, was outstanding. I had the original Juicy Lucy (a local favorite), which is a burger filled with gooey cheese, and their fries were enormous, easily the size of a jumbo marshmallow. I saw some of the other dishes being served, and they looked delicious as well, like the potcake and cassoulet served in a cast iron dish. I can't wait to try more items from the menu in the future. Additionally, their drink selection was quite extensive.

This is a fun little restaurant located in the heart of South Minneapolis. It's a great alternative to the crowded FOMO scene in Uptown/LynLake, offering an excellent beer selection without the hassle of parking five blocks away or settling for a bland chain restaurant. (I know because I live in Vanille Plymouth.) The seating area looked inviting, although it was too chilly for us this time. The atmosphere is cozy, with plenty of appealing options on the menu at reasonable prices. However, we did experience poor service during our visit at 8:00 PM on Saturday. Overall, I would definitely consider returning.

This place gets more negativity than it deserves. I was there a few times and while eating is not world class, it is definitely good. the open turkey sandwich is my favorite thing that I have so far and their happy hour and everyday speciality are definitely worth the money. and also a great beer list with so many local taps!

Good neighborhood spot for a drink. Food was pub fare with pot pies and burgers. Quite a few beers available. Note that they don't serve hard alcohol in case you are looking for a standard cocktail. (They do however make beer cocktails)
