Mediterranean Deli - Minneapolis

This place must have changed owners since it looks nothing like the previously posted photos. The new place looks pretty grimy, but I tried the Gyro anyway based on the reviews. It was pretty terrible, just drowning in oil and bland sauce. Don't trust any of the photos here, it's a completely different place.

This is the best of Ethiopian fastish food. They have been labeled as the best gyros, but if that is all you eat, you are not getting their best items. Get the falafel and the sambusa too! If they offer the ginger tea...say yes and thank you! I didn't take pictures because it was so good I didn't think to do so.

The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The gyro was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

The lady at the counter took my order, processed my payment, and then walked out the front door laughing.

I hope they add some healthier options to their menu soon.
