Normandy Kitchen - Minneapolis

Food and service are uneven but generally good. The people are always friendly and well-meaning.

Old school charm at its best. Don’t let the “curb appeal” of next door hotel dissuade you. This place is the real deal. Good food. Wonderful service. And above all a great cocktail spot where you can actually have a conversation and linger a bit. And on warm days the outdoor cafe tables are the best part (especially on this side of downtown). This place has been around forever for a reason.

We were in town for an event at the convention center, very easy to walk there for great food and drinks!

Wait time for breakfast is crazy. Seems like one person does everything. Choice of food is very poor. Ordered omelet with meats, got almost no meat at all. Flies are everywhere. Instead of eating you have deal with them first. There are lots of other places 2 min walk from here...

Had an excellent dinner with fine service barside at the Normandy. Hosted by Christopher at the bar, speedy service and a full glass were the keys to success here. Had time to appreciate some of the finer reserves of the Normandy. Also the fresh cookies at 10pm in the hotel was nice.
