Northeast Social - Minneapolis

A great standby that I often forget about but am so happy that I rediscovered! The atmosphere is great and the food is really outstanding. I am planning on going back ASAP to make sure I get another serving the the mussels with the miso-barbeque sauce. Seriously outstanding.

Ahi Tuna special was unpleasant mishmash of flavors, warmish fish atop cold puréed too sweet corn and cold chunks of cooked celery and onion. Arugula salad mostly lettuce with no sign of the accompanying ingredients. Both dishes felt way overpriced for such amateurish fare.

Charming neighborhood restaurant with a cozy and welcoming vibe. Had their delicious burger with caramelized onions and cheese fondue topping, along with a side salad with roasted veggies. Everything was very, very good and we will definitely return to Northeast Social! Yum!

My wife had their hamburger it was outstanding with perfectly caramelized onions. The fries are the thin crispy kind perfectly fried and salted. I had one of the small plates two lamb chops with a potato and artichoke hash. The chops were delicious well seasoned with quite a bit of garlic which I love. They have a really good selection of wines by the glass I had the Spanish Rioja that went very well with my chops. We would definitely come back.

Interesting menu at first glance but it was over engineered in my opinion. Their **** Mary tastes like it has a full spice rack dumped in it which is true as they proclaim it to have 16 different herbs and spices (about 8 10 too many). We had brunch food which we found fair and nothing special. With all the great options in the metro, I don't see myself going back.
