Northeast Tea House In M - Minneapolis

Nice place with a very peaceful atmosphere and good tea. The iced jasmine green tea was divine and perfect for a hot summer day. Also cool that they mill their own matcha. It was very fresh and relaxing to have a cup.

I love the Northeast Tea House!!! The matcha is so yum and everybody there is so kind and delivered great service. Thank you for the vibes I’m so excited to return!

The quality of the tea cannot be beat in the twin cities and one of the things I like best about Northeast teahouse is that they encourage people to unplug and have face-to-face conversations and to appreciate the authenticity of traditional tea house etiquette.

It was hard to find a parking place for this shop. The tea is overpriced for the small amount that you get. When I asked for iced tea it was not chilled all the way, and was still lukewarm with no ice. I also did not like that could not bring your laptop to work on things. discouraging loitering by disallowing screen use in an empty tea shop makes no sense. I feel like this location would’ve been that better with that allowance. The tea I got was also not that good but maybe it’s just because I didn’t get the right kind of tea for me.

Very calming and delicious matcha. Was pleasantly surprised with how tranquil the environment was on the interior despite the hustle and bustle of north loop, even with construction right up to the door! Both times I’ve visited the staff were friendly and helpful in suggestions. I’m no expert but the fresh matcha was rich and delicious
