Prairie Kitchen & Bar - Minneapolis

I made a reservation for 4:30 pm and received a confirmation that it was available and confirmed. However, upon arrival, we found that the bar was closed until 5:00 pm. This was very disappointing.

The restaurant only offered bar service with a limited food menu. The prices were high and there were only two waitstaff members available.

My experience at this restaurant was awful. I waited 45 minutes for an appetizer and the waitress was unfriendly. The appetizer ended up being served with the main meal. I ordered the brisket flatbread and it lacked flavor entirely. I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone. Although they gave us free lunch or dinner coupons, I felt uncomfortable passing them on to someone else.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Prices were a bit higher than expected, but the overall experience was fantastic!

The restaurant serves delicious food and has attentive staff. One downside is that the headlights from vehicles entering the hotel's drive shine directly into the dining area, as it is located below ground level. Adjusting the window coverings may alleviate the issue, but a different type of filter could be necessary. The glare from the lights can be quite distracting for those seated facing the headlights and their dining companion, as the constant movement of light across their faces can be bothersome.
