Bidra med feedbackI love the bright bold flavors of UHK!! I wanted to try it at the MN State Fair this past fall but the lines were constantly busy!! So decided to go with some friends to the shop at Graze!! The food is fun and packed with flavor!! One of my favorite items was the Hmong sausage!! And they have amazing sauces to go with the meats; piri piri, tiger bite, and a lemongrass scallion sauce! The decor inside graze is super cute too and a great spot to hang out and catch up with friends!! The chicken sandwich was a tad spicy for me but I still enjoyed it and felt like the potato salad could have used a little something to give it that extra pow! Pork belly was delicious!!! It was an excellent meal!! If you haven't ever tried Hmong food you're seriously missing out!!!
Amazing. Would recommend to anyone who visits Minneapolis. I have never had this type of food before and the pork belly plate was spectacular! The chicken plate was good too but wow that pork belly. The amazing salad was top tier, though the corn was very good too! The rice came in a little baggie, it was steamy and fresh if you ate it straight from the bag. The sauce that came with the corn was amazing too. The strawberry guava juice was okay, tasted like a starburst candy. My husband loved it though. My ideal bite was to make a little lettuce wrap with the amazing salad, pork belly and the sauce that came with the pork. The food took a while to come out, about 20 minutes. A bunch of people seemed to order the fried fish. Would 100% recommend trying Hmong food!
I was excited to get to try this place after seeing it hyped up by a bunch of folks. I ordered a Zoo Siab meal with pork belly and cold noodles to go along with a (pre bottled) Thai iced tea. It was delicious great cook and flavor on the pork belly, really fresh taste to the noodle salad, and pretty good portion for what it was. The purple sticky rice is also great, and although I'm not huge on cilantro, I like the sauce it comes with. Wait wasn't too bad on a Monday night about ten minutes or so. There's essentially a service charge/tip automatically added in (probably 18 20% or so) which is fair and I'm happy to pay knowing it goes right to the staff, just keep in mind that cost added on to your dish. Glad I stopped by while I'm in town!
This place was absolutely delicious! I had the Pork Belly with steamed vegetables and it was tasty, tasty, tasty! I do like my pork belly on the fattier side which I don't think it was as much, but it was still delicious. The pickled veggies were also great as you can never really go wrong with a pickled veggie. The purple rice was good, nothing special though. If I am ever back in Minneapolis, I will definitely be stopping by again.
Absolutely the BEST new food booth at the state fair, hands down! Cannot sing enough praises for the lemongrass turmeric tofu at Union Hmong Kitchen! Comes with purple sticky rice, pickled veggies, and choice of sauce. I've tried all 3, and they're all excellent. The tiger bite and chili oil have a kick. Definitely don't forget that cool, refreshing coconut lychee colada as well! Every last morsel was delicious, fresh, filling, but not heavy and greasy like a lot of fair food. And so colorful, too! I've gone back for more rounds, and recruited friends and strangers to try it, too. Totally worth waiting in line for this treat. Welcome to the Great Minnesota Get Together, Yia Vang! Please stay forever. And if it's this good at the fair, I cannot wait to indulge at the restaurant itself very soon.
