Blue Birch - Minnetonka

I have to say I was really disappointed in the food and the fact that there was no advertised pricing for Mothers Day Brunch. The only cost I saw on their website was $15 for adults and $5 for kids. No one said differently. We realized after we got our bill that it was $25 per adult and $11 for kids. So not worth $25. False advertising since no where did it say what the costs would be. We spent almost $100 more than we were anticipating. If the food was fantastic I would maybe give it a pass but the food was so cold, eggs and hash browns cold. Bacon over cooked and choices were very limited. Didn't even have a friends toast or pancake option. I will say the hostess was great and so was our waitress Jessica. I called to ask about pricing and after 30 minutes of being hung up on twice and on hold I finally got a call from a manger who said that someone would call back Monday or Tuesday.

I took my mom here for Mother's Day brunch and it definitely was not worth what we payed for it. If you're looking for a place to possibly grab drinks then I would say give this place a shot, but the food isn't that great.

We booked Easter Brunch. The ambiance was fair to poor because they had a low turnout (probably the 169 construction) and they set it up in a ballroom. That was the most-space between tables at an Easter brunch (ever). We were at the far end from the serving staff and it decreased the attention we received. The food was good to very good. One nit was the serving of spiral cut ham. If you plan to set-up a carving station, I think you should carve . We 've had Easter brunch in several to many places. Our top pick (the Northland Inn Easter brunch circa 2005) is still the standard for our family. Alas, the Northland was sold and the brunch not the same.

The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. They also lost our reservation. So we weren't seated in the restaurant and had to sit in the bar.

Food was expensive and service/food was SO slow. We were there for a 92nd birthday, it was very disappointing.
