Bidra med feedbackFor over 10 years. to eat here, they must pay the $30 fee for an annual membership in the tempel. the tempel itself is beautiful and consecrated and the teehouse is located in the tempel from right. no money is exchanged in the teehouse, in which they buy vouchers at the counter while they board. $10 per voucher, as all items are $10. only one person must be member. it is worth eating there a lot (what I do). no typing. the workers in the temple house are all voluntary. the Buddhist monks live there and you often see them in their robes. many activities continue throughout the year in the tempel, such as vegetarian food festivals, Chinese New Year celebrations etc. eating is vegan, except the red beans waffeln that come with milcheis. the best dishes are 1) noodles in red boiled supper amazing and spicy! has slices of marinated sincean on a bed of bok choy and kimchi in a spicy red broth and noodles (selection of weizen noodles or rice noodles). 2) vegetarian laksa cured noodles (wheat or rice) and tofu and mock meat in cocosnus broth with shredded salate and a limette. 3) noodles with black bean sauce warm weizen noodles with a mild black bean sauce with chopped shishatake mushroom and embroidered with baked carrots and gurkens. ask for the hot sauce on the side. 4) fresh fruit tea. the best tee. more like a zider with sweet fermented pineapple and orange bites and slices of apples that they get out with a toothpick at the end.
Clean, clean and peaceful environment! I've been there already and came back to her warm suppers. I was surprised to find out that a membership in $30 (annual) was required to buy a meal. Thank you, but I don't visit them regularly. So I went back to find another vegetarian meal.
Arrived at a busy Sunday afternoon in service. it was packed, but we just waited a few minutes for a table. the building is huge and relatiw ornate (this is not censor) the weihrauch is beautiful and the pendants are friendly and mowed, mostly Chinese (many rich mississauga pendants helped to pay for this tempel). they need to buy vouchers on a table (in cash) before entering the restaurant that is clean and decorated. we had two delicious vermicelli and mock meatsuppen (vegan) and beautiful oolong tee. many articles have milk, so note them and ask them if vegan. will return definitiw.
I have been dining at this restaurant for over 10 years. In order to dine here, you must pay a $30 annual membership fee at the temple where the restaurant is located. The temple itself is beautifully decorated, and the tea house is situated within the temple. When dining at the tea house, you purchase coupons at the counter as no money is exchanged within the teahouse. Each coupon costs $10, as all items on the menu are priced at $10. It is only necessary for one person to be a member in order to dine at the restaurant. I find it worthwhile to eat here regularly. There is no tipping required as all the staff at Teehaus Temple are volunteers. Buddhist monks reside at the temple and you may see them in their robes during your visit. The temple hosts various activities throughout the year, such as vegetarian food festivals and Chinese New Year celebrations. The entire menu is vegan except for the red bean waffles which are served with milk ice cream. Some of the standout dishes include the noodles in red boiled soup, vegetarian laksa, noodles with black bean sauce, and fresh fruit tea. The fresh fruit tea is particularly outstanding, with a delightful blend of cedar, sweetly fermented pineapple, orange, and apple.
The restaurant has a clean and peaceful environment. I have visited a few times for their warm soups. However, I was surprised to learn that a $30 yearly membership is required to purchase a meal. Since I do not regularly visit this area, I opted to find another restaurant for a vegetarian meal. Thank you.
