Bidra med feedbackWe went to Open cork for a birthday gatheringAnd usually our go to is Scaddabush, mainly due to the location and its convenience for all of us.
I usually stay around the Square One area for italian food but my friends and I decided to venture out and try this place for a birthday celebration dinner.
The Open Cork is located at the north east intersection of Southcreek Rd and Dundas St E in Mississauga, just west of the 427 and Etobicoke Creek.
Food is good but service could be better. Had to ask for bread, water, wine list, etc. it was like the waitress' 1st time on a Saturday night. Very loud....and busy which is a good sign. Seems like there is a wedding going on. So I can see how the wait staff can be busy. Gave a 3 since I can't give it a 3.5, almost a 4. And there is a constant ding bell sound coming from the kitchen can be very distracting.
The restaurant had poor customer service, food, and atmosphere, with unseasoned meat and tasteless rigatoni. The service was slow and dismissive, and when we complained about the food, we were only comped with one dessert. Later, they gave us cheese cake after seeing us write a negative review. The food was the best part of our meal, ironically not made in-house. Our waitress, Michelle, was uncaring, and the property was dirty. Overall, a disappointing experience with rude staff and subpar food.
