The Edelweiss Bistro - Missoula

This is the bar at the Bayern Brewery. Our beer expert, Sam, was fantastic—very personable and knowledgeable not only about the brewery and the beer but also about local attractions, fishing, and travel in general. It was a delightful break in our day. All the beers here are excellent, catering to a variety of tastes. The food is also outstanding. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place for beer enthusiasts! There are many beer options available as well!

Everything was fantastic, from the beer to the pretzels to the carving station and the authentic German dishes. The service was excellent as well. It was also enjoyable to watch the thunderstorm in the hills behind us!

Awesome customer service, food outstanding and as close to authentic German food without going to Germany...spent several years in military in Europe...so go check them out. The home brewed beers are amazing. Please keep up the great service, food and beer! Good job folks! We will be back!

Traveled from Spokane, WA to Missoula to visit my so and his family. We initiated our reunion here. My first visit.The staff was absolutely excellent, as was the beer selection and menu. We had a great time!

I would give this place 2 stars for the taste. The Jägerschnitzel was extremely thin and bland. The gravy they used was watery, and the dish topped with cheese and herbs lacked any flavor. Thankfully, I was able to salt it to make it somewhat better! The chefs in the back were quite loud and obnoxious, which is probably why it took forever for us to get our food. There weren't many patrons, but it seemed like they only had one waitress handling everything. It’s nice to have a German restaurant in the city, but unless you’ve never eaten German food before, I would not recommend this place.
