When I went into you, you could say it's an old diner. very clean and friendly staff. sarah was my waitress several times and I love the breakfast. the oash-brays and eggs are done, but not burned or dry. large cook and service.
This is a great restaurant in the region. quality home cooked food and great lunch specialties. Thursday is fresh cake day and they make it like oma has delicious! the owner is very dedicated and always welcomes us with talks. great breakfast and lunch!
Passing thru the area. This place was recommended. Food was pretty decent. Service wasn't too hot. Had to wait for ever to get drinks. And after we got our meal never came back to get refills. Also asked for check and waited for over 10 minutes for that and never came. Just walked up to cash register to pay. Prices are within reason of other places so wasn't too bad for that. Lots of choices of meals.
We visited on a Sunday just before noon. They were quite busy. The service was fair and the food was good. It was basic American food. The owner/manager seemed to control more than he needed to do. We had to ask for a straw for my soda three times and it was finally delivered by the owner. There were no condiments other than salt and pepper and jelly on the table. We had to ask twice for ketchup for the fries. They did not offer refills of the drinks. The waitress totaled the bill but the owner had to re-total it. we asked what kind of bread they had and the owner listed it off and told us that pumpernickel was $0.80 more. It appears that they really watch every penny.
