I chose Koinonia cafe after googling “best breakfast in Mitchel SD”. Best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Coffee was great and the folks were exactly what there name indicated. Stop here if you’re in Mitchell

Was looking for a nice place to sit and have coffee on a cold blustery day. this place looked amazing inside. Walked in, stood at the counter and proceeded to be actively ignored. Tried to ask for help and the person working there stared me down without saying a word and turned their back on me. I turned around and left but the lady who came in behind me was warmly greeted. Not a good look for out of town guests. Got better service at Starbucks.
