Hotel Alte Krone - Mittelberg

Fast and very courteous service and delicious food. they were there twice during our holiday. large variety of food, reasonable prices! would go back there.

Old hotel/restaurant. good kitchen, nice menu selection. professional staff. not cheap, but also not too expensive. the air of an old Austrian house is good and at its place.

We spent a nice evening here. the waiters are very friendly; the carving was good and the ice creams, excellent! real milk.

We stayed for few nights in Mittelberg in the guesthouse that simply doesnt deserve a review. The weather was horrible but this place was like a bonfire that everyone wanted to join. We ate there twice. Food was excellent, good service. Everyone enjoyed all the...food and dinner there. Thank you

My husband and I dined here one night in June 2015 we were in Mittleberg for some hiking. I had a small salad and spaghetti with tomato sauce the sauce was nicely spiced and the portion generous. He had a schnitzel and then...one of their ice cream desserts. I had asked for a menu with English which they did not have but our waitress spoke some English and was helpful and professional. The food is Austrian regional and the quality was very good the restaurant is attached to a hotel, which most in town are and seats a lot of people but it was not noisy. They also have an outdoor terrace. NOTE: restaurants in town close at 8pm so plan accordingly.
