I've been eating at Charm now for YEARS. I know the owners at this point quite well. This remains one of my favorite restaurants in the area for so many reason. The food is fantastic and consistent, the prices are good for what you get, the service is exceptional and friendly. I have brought so many people here for lunch that have also become semi regulars.Dietary restrictions: We always ask for customizations for things we don't eat and they've always obliged.

The food was delicious however my serious food allergy was not taken seriously even after explaining it several times. I was given a salad that contained my food allergen. I unfortunately was unaware until I was two bites in. I flagged down my waiter and ask if this salad was safe for me and he went to the kitchen to check. It was not. Within minutes I had to run to the bathroom and became very sick. And a day later I’m still sickPlease take allergies seriously.

Ordered one of my favorites, the Tom Kha soup and was disappointed. The soup was bland and essentially just broth, chicken, mushrooms, and a small amount of cilantro. Where was the lemongrass? You know one of the listed ingredients in the dish in the menu. The acidic punch that makes this soup so great. Asked the waiter and he says oh yeah, we don 't have lemongrass. Blah, blah, blah our supplier. I guess this restaurant just assumes that d Americans won 't know the difference and chooses to continue to serve food without all the ingredients listed on the menu. Beware! This restaurant has questionable business practices.
