The Juicy Seafood - Mobile

Made a DoorDash order which went great. Pick 3 combo with shrimp and sausage for hubby was a decent price, but overcooked and rubbery. Fried tilapia and chicken tenders box was battered well and really crispy but bland, like there was no seasoning at all. The cajun fries were pretty tasty. Tartar sauce was too pickle-y for my taste.

This is a great place to get steamed seafood and the appetizers was really good. We were really unsure about the restaurant when we went in as the establishment has changed hands and names many times over the years. The seasoning on the seafood was so good. I got the steamed shrimp and lobster tail, the lobster was a little chewy however it is really hard to get a perfect lobster anymore. The only reason we gave 4.5 stars was the draft beer was at room temperature but our waitress brought us a bottle beer.

I would like to take a moment to recognize the owner who drive to my home to bring my correct order. I eat from juicy seafood almost every week, normally on Thursday and Saturday and today I order my lunch on my lunch break.There appeared to be some miscommunication because I picked up my order and it was wrong. I had drove 24 minutes back to my house and my entire order was wrong. I ask to speak with the manager and I spoke with the owner and was going to accept the fact that I will have to stick with incorrect order.The owner of the restaurant called me from his personal cell phone and express his concerns.He told me he will bring the order to me.I appreciate him for being so passionate and caring about his business, his company and taking initiative. I appreciate his willingness to go over and beyond.I know Saturdays are one of their busiest days and for him to drive to my home and bring me the correct order shows his dedication and it shows he really cares about his business and he even appreciates his customers more. Thank you for your outstanding customer service.

So although I dine in often, I also sometimes purchase a 4oz container of juicy sauce a La carte. I was told today that they no longer sell it separately. Well the competition down the street does! Although I would prefer Juicy’s, I guess I have to patronize the company providing the product I need. I’ll also make them my regular dine in spot from now on since their customer is priority. Loyal customer lost.
