For a fun evening! a very pleasant experience in complete contrast to a day of sightseeing and culture!

It was in the early evening so most shops were closed, but we were looking for something balsamico vinegar and was told by a guide that most caffes / bars would sell quality flake. we entered this bar when we were dressed by the dessous in the...windows and thought it looked like an original place that was worth cuddling. the lady who apparently leads the place gave us a warm welcome and we started chatting. as I mentioned earlier, we hoped to find a balsamico vinegar, she said she had no right there, but if we could wait a few minutes, she would go to « the cellar » to check if she had some on camp. she came back 10min later with small bottles she claimed to be a quality brand and sold it for 20 euro each. because we knew nothing about this product and she was very friendly, obviously the time to go and get what we were after, we bought the article from her. When we went to another caffe on another street, we showed the bottles to the barkeeper to ask if he had other similar as we had to buy more for gifts. from the look at his face we thought that something was wrong, and in that did after the review on the internet the lady had really sold us bad and cheap super market vinegar that were worth less than 2€. our mistake to be naive tourist! we went back to the previous invite to complain and she tried to talk her way out of him, although the lady standing next to her looked with embarrassing red as if she was aware that her chef had done something pretty shameful. as I said, I would go to the tourism office tomorrow to submit a complaint, she gave us our money back while they are frightening on italian mumbling (what I understand) like tourist are a pain in the neck.

A former lingerie shop has now turned into a bar. more interesting place where they can get espresso and underwear at the same time. a good idea to save time.
