Perko's Cafe - Modesto

I was surprised that I liked the food better than expected. I enjoyed the Thai salad. The peanut dress was too sharp on me and the waitress said they had changed it recently and others have commented on the same. I just turned to Italian dressing. I loved the baked chicken on my salad. The food was served quickly, but I had to find help if I wanted the different dressing.

Perko's is a place like back in the day, coming home to your grandma meal.The waitress Katie made my family feel like we were right at home. We had shrimps with seasoned fries for one meal, turkey and stuffing with a baked potato , fresh fruit. And the other meal we had a buffalo wrap that was spicy but good.

Very welcoming atmosphere with delicious food including an incredible vegetable soup! A nice healthy meal that won't break the bank. Excellent, friendly, kind customer service and wait staff. Very attentive and quick to assist when needed. Refills promptly offered and to go boxes given upon request. Will definitely return next time we are in Modesto for dinner time.

I must try. It was okay, but in comparison to Black bear hash, it was definitely not as great as Bear. As always, post whatever your palate takes you.

My kids go to breakfast joint. Customer service treats you like family here. I noticed they know alot of customers by name which says alot about them. Food is always excellent.
